Contract Work
OHMS, an upcoming DJ, was searching for an identifying mark, inspired by his name, his ethnic origin, as well as the name OHMS. OHMS is represented by the omega sign, denoting the voltage, electricity, and vibrations. The name, evoked through lines, carry the inspiration of electrical circuitry with batteries, resistors, and wires. The previous iterations were busier with color blocks and more line work within the background, but after reducing visuals, the final typography shown was arrived through a subtractive process, without removing the emotion, dynamics, and overall project guidelines.
Noel is a real estate agent in the Washington, DC area, he contacted me in order to develop a logo and brand requirements to meet his growing demand in clients, as well as use for marketing material to draw in more potential clients.
Brian Marques is a chemical engineer in Brazil, looking to separate himself from fellow colleagues, reached out to create an identifying mark for himself, to distinguish his skillset not only from a technical standpoint, but also from a visual one. Below is outlined the graphics included in his identifying package. Inspired by chemical compounds and molecules was preliminary basis for the content, to arrive at an abstracted aesthetic. Initially inspired by the DNA double helix and his favorite drink, coffee (more specifically caffeine's molecular structure) which was then further abstracted into other variations.
